RECIPE TAKEN FROM Carolyn Chapman Postelwait
Pumpkin Pound Cake:
2 cups of Flour,
2 cups of Sugar,
4 Eggs,
1/2 tsp. Salt,
2 tsp. Baking Soda,
2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice,
2 tsp. of Vanilla,
3/4 to 1 cup of Crisco Oil,
& 2 cups Pumpkin.
Blend all dry ingredients. Add eggs, one at a time, then add pumpkin & oil.
Bake in Bundt Pan, greased & floured at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Let cool, then ice with this icing…
Icing Recipe:
1- 8 oz. Box of Cream Cheese,
1 Box of Confectioners Sugar,
1 stick of Butter, 1 tsp. of Vanilla.
Soften Cream Cheese & Butter, Add Vanilla & Sugar, Mix well & drizzle over cake
. … This would be great to serve at Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner… Enjoy…
