1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter

1/3 cup softened butter

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 eggs

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix peanut butter, softened butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until blended.

Spread into a 13x9x2-inch greased baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the surface. 

Bake in preheated oven for about 5 minutes (or until chocolate chips are mostly melted; remove from oven and swirl a spatula through the batter to marbelize. 

Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes. 

Cool and cut into bars.
