1/8 tsp flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp sugar
1 egg

confectioners sugar

Place sifter in a medium bowl and sift dry ingredients.
In another bowl beat the egg up and then add the milk and beat again. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.  Test the oil to see if has preheated by dropping a bead of batter into the heated oil. If the batter sizzles it is ready if not turn up he heat wait a few minutes and try again.  Place batter in a large funnel holding your finger over the bottom until you are ready to pour it in the skillet. Starting in the center of the skillet pour the batter in two circles then crisscross it.
Cook it until golden brown on one side then turn it over and cook on the other side until golden brown, then remove it and drain on paper towels. After it has drained place in plate sift confectioner’s sugar over the top and enjoy!!
