~MY Leftover Chicken Gravy,  turned into Crock Pot Chicken N Dumplins~

Here is some leftover Chicken Gravy I had for breakfast yesterday morning..(it is congealed from being in the fridge that’s why pic isn’t that great LOL)  I didn’t want to throw it out it tastes soooo good,  but I didn’t want it for breakfast two days in a row.  So HERE is what I did with it and you can too.. it is very good and saves money and time. You can’t beat that.

(PS my recipe for Chicken Gravy is in the  Breakfast category…)

OK so I got my crock pot out.. and I had some boneless chicken thighs. but you can use chicken breast too.. threw them in the crock pot with a very small amount of water.. and salt and peppered the chicken.. put the lid on and let the chicken get tender…

once the chicken was very tender.. I poured out all the liquid except for a tiny amount for extra flavor.

Then poured my leftover chicken gravy over top..

could serve like this but I decided since I had 1 can of canned biscuits I needed to get rid of, to cut them in to fourths and put in the crock..

stir some into gravy and put some on top.

Put lid on crock pot and a hand towel and let the dough cook.. it shouldn’t take too long if you have a good crock pot.

Finally take spoon and toss lightly and put into bowl

and serve with mashed potatoes, peas, and stuffing..

an EASY CHEAP MEAL that tasted great. =) I love it when I can take leftovers and make something fantastic out of it.
