LIKE ALWAYS, START OUT WITH THE SAME BASIC DOUGH RECIPE

.. Get you a great big mixing bowl (cafeteria size) in it put

2 1/2 cups of good all purpose flour

about 1/2 cup of sugar

2 Tsp salt

and 2 pkg’s of Rapid rise yeast like fleiscmann’s,

in a SEPARATE bowl take :

1 egg

1 stick of butter

and 2 cups of Hot Water

try to mix up best you can with a fork the hot water will melt the butter as you work at it with the fork….

.then take 3/4 of the liquid and start slowly adding to the flour mixture…

.use a wooden spoon till gets to a loose ball…. ADD about 2 cups of flour and pour the rest of the mixture over stirring with wooden spoon a few strokes

and then you will flour hands and start to knead into the ball ….you may have to add a little more until it is not so sticky

…… make it smooth and put in a warm spot with a towel over top for 1 hour it will double in size…

.. take some flour AND some corn meal and dust your bread board..

Take bakers Joy and spray down your JUMBO Pan

. take  dough and pat it out over the cornmeal.

. take about 1/3 of the dough and pinch off to use for bread sticks or pepp rolls or even a small pizza… (you can’t use all the dough on this pizza even with the Jumbo Pan or it will be too thick)  Then put in prepared pizza pan and smooth out.. mine looks sloppy was in hurry.. need to work on edges… LOL

First take your sauce and put on pizza not too thin but you don’t want it dry either, don’t go all the way up to the edges..  and add first layer of pepperoni

Now open your Pkg of Italian 5 Cheeses  and sprinkle over top

Now put another layer of Pepperoni all over top.. and add your Sausage if you have it.. I didn’t have it so I added balls of fried hamburger.. and I also put some onions and banana peppers on one side (wish I had some mushrooms but was out)

okay NOW you take a small bag of Mozzarella Shredded Cheese and put over that layer… (don’t use it all you will need some of it for your Hopple Popple  bread sticks you will be making with the left over dough)

on top of that add your third layer of pepperoni.. some parsley flakes, parmesan cheese, dash of oregano if desired and pepper

Now spray butter around the edges and pop in a pre heated 400 degree oven

bake till bottom is crisp but not burnt… about say 35 minutes.. Keep watch.

ENJOY…. and remember type in HOPPLE POPPLE BREADSTICKS on this site to see how I used the leftover dough to make them
