GRANDMA BIB’S FRIED BREAD FRITTERS


2 c self rising flour

little bit of oil to batter

little bit of water to batter

(I sometimes add a tad of sugar to the batter)

Oil for pan and a little butter for taste

mix dough to consistency (not as thick as biscuits and not as thin as dumplings, in-between)


pour a bit of oil in pan and take 2-3 tbsp in hot pan

and fry on both sides , while pressing down…

will get done very quickly do not burn. use to sop up yellow in fried eggs, or gravies and sauces.. good for breakfast or dinner.


My grandma always made these and then my momma, these bring back great memories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

They are really easy to make and great with eggs and gravy for breakfast.
