RECIPE AND PHOTO SUBMITTED BY Suzanne Bond

‎2 eggs,
1 1/2 c milk
, 2 c sifted flour,
1 tsp baking powder,
1tsp salt,
2 c vegetable oil,
cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar…
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir together the milk and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture, beat with mixer until smooth. Consistency should be thin enough to run through a kitchen funnel. ( if too thick add a little milk if too thin add a little flour) Heat the vegetable oil to 360.
Plug the bottom opening of the funnel by putting your finger over it and fill the funnel with a generous 1/2 c of the batter. Hold the funnel close to the surface of the oil and release the batter into the oil while making circular motions.
Fry until golden brown Use tongs and a wide spatula to turn over.Fry second side 1 min.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar or fruit topping. ( I dont have a funnel so I just used measuring cup that has the area to pour from)
