So this is what I did with my Sunday School Primary Class last Father’s Day.. Sharing in hopes some of you might want to try it for your class. It went over wonderfully, the Fathers really were touched by the cute answers and drawings.. let the children answer how they like, and if they really need help you can give some ideas but they are best left to answer on their own.. makes it priceless when you go back even a year later, like I am tonight and read what they wrote. =) Serena

Below is a sample of what we did.. my kids Randy and Jesse were in my class (Jesse still is) and this is their work.. I didn’t take pics of the other kids answers as they were private

FATHERS DAY SUNDAY SCHOOL PACKETS

For one packet I used two Card Stock 8 1/2 x 11  and two pieces of plain paper that I had previously typed my questions on, and just made copies for each child ..I also had the little coupons I printed off line..

They can be stapled but I used these nifty little things at the top, not sure what they are called but I got them at Staples..

I found that it is actually better for you to have them all assembled before the Sunday you will be working on them with the kids.. because it took a lot longer for the kids to fill out the questioneer than I thought it would.. So have some of it done, and it will go smoothly

I also pasted on the front of the packet my “Dear Daddy” letter for the cover, to show the daddies exactly what it was all about.. and a place for the kids to fill in the face of their daddy.. cute

Jesse filled in the blanks here is what it said, Jesse’s response I will type in All Caps..

Dear Daddy, your as nice as HAMBURGER HELPER, (that is all daddy knows how to make paaha). As handsome as ME and as wonderful as CANDY. I love you more than GOLD.

I thank Jesus every day for you because you are my SUNSHINE. This booklet is all about you. I hope you enjoy it and the coupon, I love you.
