SERENA’S CREAMED RIGATONI


easy… make your meat sauce

In a very  large & deep frying add a little oil.. have you about 3 large cloves of garlic minced up, throw into the  hot oil and use wooden spoon to stir around, WATCH do not burn garlic or it will ruin the whole dish

as soon as you smell that garlic in the air, throw in your ground chuck, brown it but don’t stir it to death let it cook in larger chunks we don’t want pebbles we want MEAT,,,,

shake in salt and pepper  WELL over meat and a dash of oregano, and  parsley flakes. add HUNTS tomato sauce (the big can 16oz I think and the big tomato paste or two little tomato paste & save your cans

fill up  the smaller can twice with water  and the big one one half way with water adding  to pan. stir well then add in grated parmesan cheese (don’t be stingy) and salt n pepper to taste bring to a boil reduce heat and let simmer for 30-40 min

 

get your rigatoni ready

( boil a whole box) with some salted water with a little added oil to keep from sticking.. also don’t OVER cook.. cook till just tender and turn off heat


make your Cheese filling

in mixing bowl add 1 package softened cream cheese, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder mix well with blender.

 

Assemble

Drain hot rigatoni noodles and put in extra deep casserole dish

add cheese filling all but a little bit…. stir in

pour your meat sauce over top noodles and give a poke or two to let sauce go down

take rest of cream filling and spread over top with spatula

BAKE

Bake at 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.. take out let set a minute and serve with corn and bread
