Christmas Sugar Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened

1 1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 1/2  tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)

2 3/4 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 Lightly spray pan with bakers joy

In large bowl beat butter and sugar with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.

Press dough into cavities of cookie tin mold, filling 3/2  full

Bake 9-10 minutes or until light brown around edges.

Cool in pan 5 minutes, Turn over and lightly tap to release from mold.

Cool completely on wire rack.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.

Enjoy, these are not the super soft type, (and we love those too hahaha) and these are not hard either .. they are kinda medium… perfect for dipping in milk.
