1 14oz can Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 tbsp peppermint extract

green or red food coloring (OPTIONAL)

6 cups confectionary sugar

Additional Confectionary sugar

1- 6oz. bag 

In large mixing bowl add milk, and coloring if desired. then add in 6 cups of confectionary sugar. stir until well blended adding extract. Knead lightly until a smooth ball. Take confectionary sugar and dust counter then shape patties to form a smooth ball place apart neatly on waxed paper.

Flatten each ball into a 1 1/2 inch patty.

Let dry 1 hour or longer. Turn over and let dry at least 1 hour. Melt the choc chips in a microwave set on high for 2 minutes. Stir halfway through the heating time, Melt thourouly but do not overheat. Can also use a double broiler over low heat and water on a stove for same effect on chocolate. 

With fork dip each patty into warm chocolate, draw fork across rim of pan lightly to draw away excess chocolate. place on cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Let stand until firm. Store covered at room temp or in fridge.
