WATER GLASS EGGS

how to preserve your fresh farm eggs without refrigeration.

You will need:

Unwashed Fresh Eggs

Pickling Lime

Water

Clean 1/2 gallon jars

Get a large glass jar, (1/2 gallon)  have your farm fresh eggs, unwashed, unrefrigerated,  but cleaned off (as in no dirt or mud or chicken poop) carefully place the eggs in your large jar, pointy side down , stack till full

mix one quart of fresh water to 2-3 tbsps of picketing lime, stir or shake well before use, and pour over top of your eggs all the way to the rim of jar so every egg is covered with the lime and tightly screw lid on.

Tape date the top and Store for future use. Lime will settle to the bottom. Will keep for 18-24 months.

They will still taste the same when you are ready to use them.
