VINEGAR PULL TAFFY

Use Medium Saucepan , put in 3 cups sugar, one – half cup vinegar, and one cup water . Stir well before you put on the stove.

Cook this over low heat till it reaches hard crack stage.

Add two tbsp butter or margarine and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour the mixture on a buttered platter and let it cool enough so you can handle it. Now pick up the blob of candy and begin to pull it. It’s more fun with people to help you pull. The more you pull the whiter it gets.
