VANILLA BUTTERNUT CAKE

3 cups sugar

2 sticks butter

1/2 cup oil

1/4 tsp salt

3 cups flour

5 large eggs

1 cup canned milk

1 cup maraschino cherries chopped up ‘

1 cup nuts, chopped

2 tbsp butternut vanilla cream oil, butter, salt and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. add flour and milk. Ending with flour.

Fold in flavoring. add cup of chopped nuts, rolled in flour. Add chopped cherries rolled in flour. Bake in tube pant 325 degrees for 1 hour 40 minutes.
