A chocolate Hershey’s kiss candy is baked in the center of each cookie. 

Ingredients: 

1 Cup butter

1/2 Cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 Cups flour

Hershey’s kisses candies

Confectioner’s sugar 

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 

Cream butter and sugar, beating well. Add vanilla and flour, and mix well. Chill dough for one hour. 

Pinch off a piece of dough. Roll into ball with palms of hands and then flatten. Put Hershey’s Kiss in center of dough and wrap dough completely around the Kiss. 

Place onto ungreased cookie sheet one inch apart and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. 

When cookie is cooled down, roll them in powdered sugar. 

VARIATIONS: You can use any flavor of Hershey’s kiss candies for these cookies. I would recommend a different chocolate kiss for each batch, to get a variety. One can be solid chocolate kisses, another with white chocolate kisses and finally chocolate cherry kisses.
