3/4 c. Hershey’s cocoa

1/2 tsp. baking soda

2/3 c. butter, melted

1/2 c. boiling water

2 c. sugar

2 eggs

1 1/3 c. flour

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. chocolate chips 

Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. In a bowl combine cocoa and baking soda. Blend in 1/3 cup butter. Add boiling water. Stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining butter. Add flour and vanilla. Blend completely. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Frost with Buttercream Frosting. 

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. butter, softened

1/2 c. cocoa

2 3/4 c. powdered sugar

1/3 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add cocoa and sugar. Add milk. Beat to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla.
