TOP TURTLE CAKE
1 pillsbury German Chocolate Cake Mix
Mix according to directions on box
divide batter into 2 parts
to one part add
1 c melted butter
1/2 c eagle brand milk
mix together and put into greased and floured 9×13 pan and bake for 25 minutes.
While cake is baking melt 1/2 c butter
melt 1 16oz bag of caramels
then add remainder of Eagle brand milk
and 1/2 c nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Pour over baked layer as soon as it comes from oven (leave cake in pan)
Pour remainder of batter over caramel mixture and bake another 25 minutes.
