Texas Cake

from Aunt Eileen

2 eggs

2 cups all purpose flour

2 cups sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon soda

1 16oz. can crushed pineapple, drained

(Mix by hand)

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes

TOPPING:
2/3 cup can milk (small 5oz can)

1 cup sugar

1 stick butter

1 cup coconut

1 teaspoon vanilla

Cook milk, sugar, butter and vanilla for 1 minute. Put in coconut and pour over cake while warm.

  • FYI: I go by Eileen, my middle name. This cake is super sweet but so easy to make.
