1 pint canned trout

1/2 onion, chopped

1/4 cup flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp. coarse ground pepper

1 egg 

In electric skillet heat up crisco shortening @ 350-400 degrees. ( I never measure…a couple heaping big spoons full. ) Mix all ingredients in bowl. Shape into patties and fry until brown on each side. (I have also fried the

patties using Pam and I have used the george foreman grill too. All ways are delicious.
