1 previously baked pie shell

1 c sugar

1/4c cornstarch

2c half & half

1 stick butter

1t vanilla 

Mix all this together in a saucepan over Med. heat, and cook it until it’s thick and bubbles. *I wait to add my vanilla at this point. It helps the vanilla flavor stay a bit better. * Then you just pour it inot your pie shell, and sprinkle a little nutmeg over it to make it look pretty! Refrigerate and eat it when it’s cool. Yum
