Strawberry Pie topped with a sweet crispy tart..
Bake your pie shell.. .. take other half of dough and roll very thin.. cut around it to fit pie.. and cut out heart.. save the cutout.. then place on cookie sheet sprayed with bakers joy, flat. Sprinkle with granulated sugar bake till crisp. let cool.. handle gently..
2 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 reg size pkg strawberry jello
2 pints strawberries washed and sliced
1 c sugar
1 c cold water
Mix cornstarch with water.. then sugar, stir well. Cook till thickens. Add strawberry gelatin. Let cool. add fresh strawberries. Pour into pie shell. Place in fridge covered. can serve with whipped cream or ice cream and tart..
