3 lb. Bag of cheese Tortellini

I get the one in the freezer section made by Kroger

2 8 oz blocks Cream cheese

1 stick salted butter

1 1/2 to 2 cups Parmesan cheese

4-5 cloves garlic minced

parsley

black pepper heavily

6 oz Fresh Baby spinach add after consistency of sauce has been achieved

2 Tbsp chopped onion add at at end to maintain crunch

add minced garlic and whole stick of butter a wide deep pot, wait till garlic releases smell and then add in 2 cups of milk

note (may add more later if needed, these measurements are not exact as I don’t measure on this dish I go by sauce consistency and taste)

add in your blocks of cream cheese and break them up

add in your black pepper parsley flakes and your Parmesan cheese

stir with whisk until lump free and creamy

It will thicken .. you may need to add more milk

I add in the spinach and let it wilt down .. taste your sauce it should not be weak! You want this to be garlicky

add 2 tbsp small chopped onion

I put my whole 3 lb bag of Tortellini in some salted water a few minutes and then into my sauce, you can do it directly to the sauce if you desire but I like to do it this way

once tortellini is in sauce, BEFORE you begin to stir it in, sprinkle the hot tortellini with a bit of salt, butter Parmesan cheese, and black pepper THEN you can fold it into the sauce.

I actually serve this with canned spinach that I have drained well and heated with a half stick of salted butter and a small onion chopped (the same onion you used to get 2 Tbsp of onion for your Tortellini dish ‘)

and some garlic bread sticks

this is a comfort food with strong garlic flavors and a lot of spinach ❤️ don’t eat it on your first date haha
