Mom’s Spaghetti and Chicken with Potatoes Recipe


(YES I did say Potatoes) everyone say’s WHAT.. till they try it.. I have had it ever since I can remember holding a fork , My Mother Shelma (Farruggia) Adkins and my Grandpa and Grandma made this quite often.

 

Prepare your minced garlic about 3-4 cloves .. you  dice about 3 nice potatoes and your chicken use legs or boneless I used boneless breasts today and sliced into strips.. always have every thing you need BEFORE starting your recipe..

 

1st take chicken legs or chicken strips whichever  in these photos I used chicken strips..and brown in oil in skillet with your  3-4 cloves of minced garlic..


then add 1 can hunts tomato sauce and 1can tomato paste 3 small cans of water  and a little water in the big can slosh around to get all the tomato sauce and pour in…


Add your seasonings  pepper, salt, parsley flakes. and parmesan cheese (don’t measure, put a good bit of parm) and the  Diced potatoes

let simmer in your sauce with lid till tender (if your in a hurry you can boil your potatoes separately)

have your noodles already boiling to the side until they have a bite to them

…drain noodles


and add to sauce grated parmesan cheese


(Can use pork chops or cube steak with same recipe)
