2 Cups light cream

2 Tbsp Buttermilk

 

Combine cream with buttermilk in hot clean glass jar with a lid (steralized canning jar and lid) Cover tightly and shake gently to thoroughly mix. Let stand in warm place- as if you were waiting for bread to rise- till thickened (about 24-48 hours) Store. Covered in refridgerator. Stir before serving as may be lumpy. Use within THREE weeks. Make 2 cups
