SERENA’S HOMEMADE CHEESEBURGER STROMBOLI

Get you a great big mixing bowl (cafeteria size) in it put 2 1/2 cups of good all purpose flour about 1/2 cup of sugar 2 Tsp salt and 2 pkg’s of Rapid rise yeast like fleiscmann’s,

in a SEPARATE bowl take 1 egg 1 stick of butter and 2 cups of Hot Water try to mix up best you can with a fork the hot water will melt the butter as you work at it with the fork…..then take 3/4 of the liquid and start slowly adding to the flour mixture…. use a wooden spoon till gets to a loose ball….. then at this point take about 2 cups of flour and start to knead into the ball you may have to add a little more until it is not so sticky…..

. make it smooth and put in a warm spot with a towel over top for 1 hour it will double in size…

Meanwhile take 1-2 lbs of hamburger have it completely thawed out.
dice up very small onion or half of one. Take 3 cloves of garlic mince up put small amount of oil in pan and put in garlic and onions don’t burn stir with wooden spoon then throw in burger… salt and pepper well, add in some parsley flakes throw in some pepperoni cook till wilted … then drain WELL…. take 1/4 cup marinara sauce stir and add another 1/4 cup turn off heat and shake in parmesan cheese.. let cool down some before putting on dough….

Step 1 half your dough, throw some cornmeal on dough board and roll out half of dough into large rectangle.

Step 2 brush Marinara Sauce over dough leaving 1 inch around boarders

Step 3 take hamburger Pepperoni Mixture over top of sauce, add Mozzerella Cheese and Cheddar Cheese (can add mushrooms, banana peppers if desire ect)

Step 4 Roll up into a log and tuck in ends along seam side..

Step 5 Place SEAM SIDE DOWN on greased cookie sheet and bake in oven of 375 for 35 min or till cooked completely through

Step 6 Slice on the diagonal and serve ENJOY!
