SERENA’S EASY PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE CAKE
1 bx Duncan Hines pineapple cake mix (or yellow)- mix as directed
take 1 (20 oz) can of Dole Crushed Pineapple and strain off juice.
Add 1/2 of pineapple to cake batter.
Bake till done cool and add Frosting.
Pineapple Cream Cheese Frosting :
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese softened
1 stick butter softened
1 (16 oz) pkg powdered sugar
1 tsp lemon extract
other half of drained crushed pineapple .
Combine cream cheese and butter. Cream till smooth add in powdered sugar. Beat till light and fluffy. Stir in lemon extract and fold in drained pineapple last.
