CHEESY PEAS


This is a VERY simple side dish that your children will love paired with some hot mashed potatoes and fried chicken,  or enjoyed with fried trout patties like we made today.

First just open up two cans of peas (1 can if you aren’t serving that many folks)

Add some butter  and heat in saucepan.

add about six slices of cheese (3 if you are only using one can of peas) if you got a little velveeta melt you can use that instead

then stir in some evaporated milk to thin it out.. not too much.. (can use regular milk too)

some pepper and you are done.

Enjoy.
