ROLO PRETZELS
(Easy Turtles) .. you get the great taste of a turtle without the effort..
Take some Rolo’s
unwrap and have ready to go..
You will also need some nuts.. Pecan Halves work best
I used mini pretzels, placed them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper
I put my pretzels into the oven and got them very warm
Brought them out and placed a rolo on each one.. they immediately started to soften.. as they soften they will get a sheen to them.. once you see the sheen up top. Place a nut on top and press lightly.. I don’t like all my caramel to come out so I don’t press really hard… I then let them set.. or if I am in a real hurry to get them ready to go.. I put them (cookie sheet and all) into the freezer for a bit…
NOTE when they come out of the freezer they will need to come to ROOM TEMPERATURE before eating for best results… =) Enjoy!!!!
