6 Cups cooked pinto beans

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 – 1 cup of bean water or just water

 

Preparation:

 

Cook pinto beans ahead of time.

 

Mash cooked beans with a small amount of bean water until desired consistency is reached. Add onion and garlic powder and mix well. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

Serve on tortillas, pita bread or as a sandwhich spread.
