SERENA’S PRUNELLA PUDDING
This is a layer pudding dish and if you like Fig you will like this.. Although this is not fig, it is Prunes cooked down with Canned Apples in heavy syrup till it becomes a thick paste,
add some butter and cook down…
just cook down to thick paste.. you can help it along, by using a hand mixer to get the pulp smooth..
I have a homemade Angel Food Cake already made.. (RECIPE IS ON THIS WEBSITE)
Tear up the Angel Food cake and put in a long glass 9×13 dish
and when you spread your prune apple mixture over top of your torn Angel food cake it is best to spread while the mixture is still warm.
This prune-apple mixture reminds me so much of fig. top it off with some homemade custard (Recipe for custard on this site as well)
add some cool whip and let it chill for a delectable summer dessert.
