POUND CAKE
2 c sugar
1 c crisco
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 1/2 cups plain flour
2 tbsp flavoring of any kind
Cream crisco, sugar, eggs for 1 minute at high speed. Add 1 cup flour beating 1 minute add 2 cups flour alternately with milk add flavoring.
Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured.
bake at 325 for 1 hour then turn to 350 for 10 minutes longer.
