KELLOGG COMPANY PICKLED BEETS

 

Make a spiced vinegar consisting of:

2 cups water

2 cups vinegar

1 sliced lemon

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tsp allspice

1 tsp cloves.

Prepare small beets by cooking until tender and removing skins. Cover them with the spiced vinegar and simmer for 15 minutes . Pack into clean hot glass jars and seal tightly.
