From Janie Wilt (my MIL)Ideal recipe for after dinner when your stuffed but you still want that taste of something sweet (haha) 

Pecan Pie Bites

2 cups Pecan Halves (chopped)
1c. Karo Syrup

3 eggs
2tbls butter (melted)
1c. Brown Sugar
1tea. Vanilla
1 pkg unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350. Take pie crust and mini-muffin pan spray pan good. cut circles out of pie crust or use large coffee cup, put “crust” forming into each muffin hole. Put all filling ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Pour mixture into each pie shell, topping with the pecans Bake (1hr for whole pie) watch for filling to set. Remove from oven and let set 30 min to cool. and Enjoy
