Pearlie’s Potato Biscuits

1 cup of buttermilk

1 cup of mashed potatoes

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1 tablespoon of butter

1 tablespoon of honey

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

2 cups plain of flour

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Mix potatoes and butter together.

Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk and add the honey.

Mix the baking powder, sugar and flour together in a bowl and mix in the milk and the potato and butter mixture.

Roll out to 3/4 inch thick on floured surface and cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a floured glass.

Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
