This is my friend John’s wifes recipe for Pear Pie
has this for her Pear Pie Recipe: 

I used an apple pie recipe essentially. For 2 pies (deep dish is best…):
4-6 c. peeled, sliced pears, into a pot w/
½+ c. water
1+ Tbsp lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp flour
To taste, add 1 tsp orange peel, cinnamon, pineapple or orange (or cherries, blueberries, etc)
Cook to boil, then add to pie shells
Bake @ 350° 35-50 minutes (till bubbly & browned crust)

I also prefer one crust w/ crumbles on top:
½ c flour
½ c brown sugar
½ c butter
Blend together, sprinkle across the top (double the qty if you like lots of it on top)
