PAM’S CHICKEN & WILD RICE SOUP

I saw my cousins wife Pam Lilly making this and I thought it looked so good so I wanted to post it so I would remember to make it too. haha.

in your pot add some butter about the size of an egg

have you some carrots celery and onion chopped up and add to the pot

add salt and pepper

and add in a couple cloves of minced garlic

add in 1/3 c flour and stir in to make a roux

Add 4 cups of chicken broth

2 cups heavy cream

Two boxes Uncle Ben’s Original long grain & wild rice and packets

add in chicken from a rotisserie chicken

put lid on and cook for 20 minutes.
