ORANGE SLICE CAKE
Sift together and set aside.
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
Combine
1# Orange Slice Candy, cut up
18oz pitted dates copped
2 c chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups coconut
add 1/2 cup of flour and mix well.
Cream together
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp Soda
add flour mixture and candy. Mix
Pour into greased and floured tube pan
bake at 350 degree oven. 1 hr 45 min
Gaze while warm with
1 c orange juice
2 c confectionary sugar
let stand overnight before removing from pan.
