I usually make a 7-UP pound cake but this time i used Mt. Dew and it turned out very very good and thought i would share it with ya’ll!

1 cup of butter / melted
1/2 cup of shorting / melted
3 cups of sugar
1/2 tsp. of vanilla
5 eggs
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 cup of Mt. Dew or 7-UP your choice
3 cups of ALL PURPOSE FLOUR

mix well cook on 350 for 1 hour and 45 mins
