1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)—

4 1/2 cups of Domino sugar—-

1 (12oz) can Carnation cream—

2 (12 oz) bags semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 (7 oz) jar of marshmallow cream—-

1 tsp salt—

1 tsp vanilla—

3 cups of chopped pecans, optional———

In large heavy saucepan, bring butter, sugar and milk to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.

Boil 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted.

Add remaining ingredients; beat until well blended and smooth. You have to work fast or it will set up on you before you get it all blended. Pour into a greased 13×9 or 15×10 pan. Cool completely.

The reason I name brands is b/c in my 30+ years of baking I have found that Domino’s cooks up better and the candy isn’t granulated, same way with the Carnation or Pet creams, they cook up better
