my Sissy in Law Mel’s Spinach Dip

1 box frozen, chopped spinach
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Cook spinach according to package directions and drain well. While still warm, mix in chesses and seasonings until smooth and well combined.Seasonings may be adjusted to suit each taste, I usually use more garlic & red pepper flake, but these amounts are a starting point. Serve warm with pita chips, tortilla chips, etc. Enjoy!
