MATZO BALL SOUP

Place a whole chicken in a pot. Cover chicken with water. Bring to a boil. Skim off chicken fat.
Add dill, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper
1 whole onion , leave the skin on it will add colour
…3 whole carrots
1 parsnip
4 stocks of celery
don’t worry about peeling vegetables, you will be throwing them away after stock is done.
Cover pot and simmer for 3 hours. Remove the chicken. Drain the broth into a separate pot and throw away vegetables. All the nutrients have been boiled ouot of them.
Add chicken bovril concentrate for added flavour.Chicken soup portion is complete.

Buy Matzo Meal (I use Manischewitz)
Follow the directions on the box.
When Matzo Balls are cooked you can add some of the chopped up chicken, pasta, vegetables or anything you like.
