1/2c. shortening

6T sugar

3/4t. salt

1/2c boiling water

1/2c All Bran

1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2c lukewarm water

1 egg (beaten)

@4 c flour. 

Mix shortening, sugar, and salt with boiling water. Add bran and cool to lukewarm. then add yeast (already dissolved in water) and egg. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Mix well. Cover and store overnight in the refrigerator. When you’re ready, shape and bake 15-20 min. in a 375 degree oven.
