HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE BROWN SUGAR IN A PINCH
I keep certain things on hand always… Brown Sugar is one of those things. Sometimes I run low. If ever I need a quick cup or two of brown sugar that I do not have I don’t panic and run to the store. I simply pull out two ingredients I keep in my cabinets. White Granulated Sugar and Pure Molasses.
You need a mixing bowl
and add a cup or two (how much ever you need) of granulated sugar
and pour in a Tbsp or so of molasses
.
and mix well,
then go in with your hands
Add a little more molasses if needed until you get desired brown sugar.keep working it in with your hand.
when ready it will not be sticky, it will be moist and will pack well.
Pour in air tight container or jar if not using right away.
Easy and tastes amazing!
