HOT MILK CAKE WITH 7 MINUTE ICING

4 eggs

2 c sugar

2 c flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 stick margarine

1 c milk

2 tsp flavoring (any flavor you want)

Put milk butter and flavoring in pan on medium heat. Grease and flour pan. Beat eggs and sugar on high speed till milk boils .. about 15 minutes. add flour and baking powder

then add hot milk all at once and pour into pan bake at 375for 45 minutes

SEVEN MINUTE ICING

1 egg white

1/8 tsp cream of tartar

1/3 c boiling water

1 c sugar

pinch salt

1/2 tsp vanilla’

combine sugar salt cream of tartar and boiling water Pour in upper half of double boiler place over boiling water

add egg white and beat about 7 minutes or till icing is thick enough to spread

add flavoring .. spread on your cooled hot milk cake

decorate with angel flake coconut if desire
