HOMEMADE SHOWER CLEANER RECIPE

Since a recipe was posted for laundry detergent, I want to share my shower cleaner recipe..
1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/2 cup Dawn. Heat vinegar in microwave about a minute till hot. Mix in spray bottle with Dawn.(if you need more, its equal parts of vinegar to Dawn) Spray shower and tub, wash with sponge and rinse. My shower walls stay cleaner longer and although it doesn’t smell PINESOL fresh,it smells clean and I use it any day over store bought shower cleaner.

      Melony Lester       Thanks will give it a try……I make my own dishwasher detergent….equal part borax and washing soda (if you want it to smell good try mixing in sugar free lemonade mix) and about twice a week i put apple cider vinegar in the rinse agent…works wonderfully!

    • Melinda Blevins       I been looking for a good dishwasher detergent, but I do put vinegar in rinse cycle. I want to try the all purpose cleaner, orange peels soaked in a jar of white vinegar for 10 days.

    • Kristal Coleman       I wonder if this would work for coal dirt in showers??

    • Melinda Blevins       try it and see Kristal. It keeps the shower cleaner longer too.

    • Kristal Coleman       I’m going to give it a shot. That mega shower foamer works good but it is almost 5$ a can.

    • Melinda Blevins       Hope it works for you, it does great in my bathrooms. I just started dumping it in sink and toilet and it works well there too.
