One of my wife’s favorites. Cake:

2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 1/2 cups of sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 cups Crushed pinealppe (Do not drain)

2 eggs

1/2 cup nuts

1/2 cup brown sugarMix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, pineapple and eggs.

Pour into a 9 X 13 pan.

Sprinkle nuts and brown sugar over mixture.

Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven.Topping:

1 cup Milnot

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 stick of butter or margarineBring to a low boil for 6 minutes.

Slit cake in about 1/2 intervals (or poke holes using the handle of a wooden spoon)

Pour topping over the hot cake.
