Graham Crackers (for layers)…about 3 boxes

1 cup butter

½ cup milk

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 cup coconut

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 

Cover bottom of a 9 x 15 pan with whole graham crackers.

Melt butter in a saucepan on low; add milk, sugar and 1 egg (slightly beaten). Cook until it boils (1- 2 minutes). Add coconut, nuts and crushed graham crackers (1 – ½ cup). Mix well. Spread mixture over graham crackers evenly. Place another layer of graham crackers on top of the graham cracker mixture. Let cool and frost with icing. 

Frosting 

2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)

½ cup butter

Enough orange juice to make a spreading consistency 

Chill overnight or several hours
