Good Old Fashioned Pound Cake
cream together thoroughly :
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
add 1 cup flour
2 eggs
beat well add :

beat well and add:
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Beat until smooth and add:
1 cup milk
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla
Mix well and pour into greased bunt pan
bake 350 for 1 hour and cool.
