I ate this piece and took me home some too… it was so good.. I am definitely going to get husbands Aunt Vickie to share the recipe with us… =P and here it is.. lol she sent it to me
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup melted butter
1 cup coconut
1 (8-oz.) pkg. Cream cheese
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (16-oz.) box confectioners’ sugar
•Spread chopped pecans and coconut in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
•Mix German chocolate cake as directed on box.
•Pour cake mix on top of pecans and coconut.
•Mix butter, cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
•Leave a 1 inch margin around the edge of pan; spread mixture on top of cake mix.
•Bake @ 350 degreesfor 50 minutes or less
