FUDGE CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS

These are wonderful! Easy to make, and there are plenty to share!
Fudge (Chocolate) Revel Bars
1 cup margarine
1 can sweeten condensed milk
2 cups brown sugar
1-12 ounce package chocolate chips
2 eggs
2 tbl margarine
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup walnuts (optional)
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
3 cups quick cooking rolled oats
In large mixing bowl, cream together the 1 cup margarine and brown sugar.
Beat in eggs and 2 tsp vanilla.
Sift flour, soda and 1 tsp salt, stir in oats.
Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture until blended.
Pat 2/3 of this mixture in the bottom of 15-1/2 X 10-1/2 X 1 inch pan and set the rest aside.
In heavy sauce pan, over low heat melt together condensed milk, chocolate chips, 2 tbl of margarine and salt; stir until smooth. Remove from heat, stir in nuts and remaining vanilla.
Spread chocolate mixture over the dough in pan.
Dot with remaining oat mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.
Cut into 2 X 1 inch bars.
Makes about 75.
